• The Colourpatch Café ... known as the last eating house before the Antarctic ... very popular take away for fish and chips and the Chef will even cook your catch for you ! The Colourpatch offers a fine dining experience, it being the only restaurant on the waterfront ... you can sit on the deck and watch the dolphins go by as you eat. • Augusta Hotel Café ... Bistro menu, served in the refurbished restaurant. Café open Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00am-4pm and 6pm-9pm. Also open on Sundays from 10.00am-4pm.  Good views, especially at sunset.
• Augusta Bakery and Café ... the bakery is a focal point in Augusta life. The Baker is a 5^th generation French baker, who produces food of a standard no other small country town can lay claim to!  The Bakery is open 7 days, 7.00am-4.00pm and the Café from 7.30am-3.30pm. Full breakfast and light lunches are served.  There is a Sunday Roast from 11am onwards and take-away pizzas are available on Friday nights.  ‘Phone 97581664

• Augusta Fish and Chips ... supplied by Local Fishermen, this Café offers sit down or take away.  Fresh fish can be selected from the cabinet, or pre-prepared meals can be bought to cook at home.  ‘phone 97581748.
• Squirrels ... this Health Food shop cum Café, does the best steak-burger in town. Squirrels is open when everything else is shut and you can have fish and chips, or burgers, in the shop whilst watching T.V. !  ‘phone 97581858
